What is Techies Connect?
Techies Connect (TC) is a Cameroonian tech community founded in April 2024 to build the ecosystem African tech professionals deserve. Developers, designers, product managers, founders, students and enthusiasts come together — not just to network, but to build, learn and grow.
Today, TC is a reference point for Cameroon's tech scene — events, mentorship, talent showcases and gatherings that bring together thousands of techies across multiple cities.
TC is not an NGO. It's a movement.
Techies Connect is not a traditional organisation, not an NGO, not a closed club. We don't wait for grants or top-down mandates — we're a grassroots movement, owned and driven by the community it serves.
Our approach is community-driven. Every programme, event and initiative is designed around one question: does this strengthen the ecosystem we're all building?
